i used gsxr 600 on the escort. 38 mm id and you can spread them out if you prepared to make a new fuel rail. I found mine on US ebay, landed in oz for about $100 with wiring and tps for about $150. i've read some guys choke back the bigger bike stuff to suite, not sure if they make em or turn down ...

the escort's finally all MS'd.
Had it running with the std weber for a while to bed in ignition. Ignitions all good now, added a few reverse diodes, caps and revised my earths to clean up ignition resets. With STAG's dwell I've stopped burning up commodore coils.
