Has anyone done much with ignition tables? I have a table in there but it seems to be giving me some grief. It's hard to describe but the engine shudders in certain areas of the map, opwer drops off when that happens. In other areas of the map where the shuddering clears it seems much more crisp.

ASE was my problem. I did play with some values but I was still not giving it enough. It seems to be starting pretty well now without too much tweaking which is lucky. Fine tuning cranking PW, ASE and warmups will take a bit longer as I remember.

It looks like the wideband is behaving now too, so ...

You will probably have to adjust both.
But if the engine is dying just after firing-up, adjusting the afterstart enrichment will fix that.

I've just been rechecking things and i'm still scratching my head.

First of all I checked the dizzy phasing, and at 25 degrees BTDC the rotor it pointing at the plug tower for No. 1 cylinder.
