Re: I'm still alive! How's everyone else?
I was trying to get a burnt out Commodore ECU to modify into a plug and play to try in my ute (1993 VP Series 2). I have a spare MS2 with Extra code and JB-Perf 4-Channel driver board http://www.jbperf.com/quad_ign_inj/index.html , I wanted a VP ...

I'm still alive! How's everyone else?
Haven't been in here for ages, thought I say hello!
I haven't been up to much, car wise, but tomorrow I'm changing my injectors and doing some tuning.

Re: NEWBIE HELP REQUIRED
Yes, check the voltage at the injectors at crank. Use an indicator lamp or something as a load, too.TA23 wrote:** should I check the voltage at the injectors while cranking the engine?
I have a fusebox supplying the injectors, via a relay (energised via the ignition ON switch) from the battery.

Re: NEWBIE HELP REQUIRED
Are the injectors getting power whilst the motor is being cranked? Have a look-see, let us know!

Re: Mitsubishi V6 Distributor
I am converting a Triumph TR5 (2.5ltr 6cyl) to MS-Pro(MS3X) utilizing a modified Mitsubishi 3ltr V6 set up. Only the manifold has been modified to fit the straight 6 and the distributor to fit the Lucas drive. Also no MAF, going MAP.
All the other components are used. Questions are.
1. What is ...

Re: Microsquirt on 6v
Concerning the MS unit, I reckon the 6v fed into the voltage regulator will be too low, most linear regulators need input volts of about 2 volts greater than the output (5) volts.
I think you'd be pushing it to find an injector which runs on 6 volts, let alone finding one with the ...

Microsquirt on 6v
I've got a mate who's thinking about converting his old 'Condor' single-pot 350 to efi. It's a 6V system and we want to keep the old dear fairly original looking.
Will a microsquirt (or megasquirt) run OK from 6V?
It'd be a ripper little machine with decent fueling since the carby is worn ...
