This joint has been quiet...

Post by wagon »

Hello!

This place has been quiet. What's everyone been upto?
1984 Ford Falcon 250ci inline 6 MS'd of course!

Now improved the way Ford should have built it with a 4speed automatic.

Also with 3.45 LSD for added goodness.

Been working on my hot rod recently. The 1uz runs quite nice just off the base tables that come with the ms2. The itbs work nice as well. I put it on my dyno over xmas to test out the GPIO base trans controller and it seems to all function nicely. It still all needs tuning though. I might be doing an MS3 on a twin turbo ls1 boat engine soon.

Cheers

Daniel.

My ute has been tucked away for a few months but should hit the road again soon. Then I can try the CAS and Stealth Ram manifold.

the esky was busy last year. managed to win club championship and Newcastle Area Type 3. only had it out once this year.
still trying to find the motorvation to pull the ms and wire in a tacho and oil pressure cut. All I have currently is a 10mm led on the dash which is on when its cold and doubles up as my shift light. currently making a new airbox for the tb's.
Been looking at an ipad as a dash as the older ipads are popping up on ebay cheaper than building a dash. might wait for efianalytics to evolve their android app for the novelty of supporting gps and accelerometer(dont know if ipad does this).

A meet sounds like fun, but i will need a couple more months to get the hot rod on the road. The chassis is done just waiting for the body to be painted. Then just need wheels and build an interia. It has ms2, gpio and LCDash.
